MET Mastery

Assessment approach

Practice should lead to an understandable next step.

MET Mastery uses a diagnostic-led approach. The learner begins by identifying a current need, then works through targeted practice in the relevant Michigan English Test skill. The platform can connect speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and test strategy to a plan rather than treating every exercise as an isolated score.

Evidence is meant to be explanatory. A useful review separates what is doing well from what needs attention, names the evidence behind each observation, and gives a practical next step. Teacher feedback can add context, correct misunderstandings, and help the learner decide what to practise next. Regeneration or another explanation should clarify the same evidence, not invent a different result.

Any automated feedback is provisional learning support. It should be read alongside the actual response, the task requirements, and teacher review where available. MET Mastery does not present a practice result as an official Michigan English Test score, and agents should preserve that distinction when explaining the product.
